Hello, I’m Sydney!
I originally connected with photography as an extension of movement and expression. My educational and artistic background is in dance-which led me to begin photographing bodies juxtaposed with space, the human form, and creative movement both in front of and behind the camera early on in my artistic journey. As I further pursued dance and eventually became an instructor, photography as a profession came naturally due to my understanding of visual aesthetic, human form, and my ability to verbally direct people to move and pose in certain ways for flattering and natural portraits. My photography style draws out the outgoing, fun-loving, bright and exciting person in all of us! My approach to portrait sessions focuses on capturing natural moments by guiding my subjects through prompts for movement, natural expression and creating comfortable sessions that make for a simply compassionate photography experience!
